Trails in the area |
|
| Shown here are some of the favorite hiking loops within the area.
-
The green loop is approximately 1 mile and is a great hike for kids, dogs and visiting family. What better end to a satisfying meal than taking the dogs on a short jont!
-
The yellow loop is approximately 2.5 miles round trip and is great for a short afternoon run or long walk. This loop takes you through large open-space areas and provides trail connections to the gunbarrel area.
-
The black loops range from 3.5 miles to over 6 miles in length! Train for your next Bolder-Boulder or take a nice bike ride. There are a large network of trails that are easily accessible to CPW residence.
CPW has accessability to trails and hikes for every skill level, all within a short walk of your home! We encourage all residence to utilize these public trails as they are a great way to see wildlife and enjoy the scenery.
For a comprehensive trail plan, please see the Niwot Trails Master Plan on the Boulder County Openspace website.
